Alongside our associates at Pearle Vision, the team of eye doctors at Sun Valley Optometry provide excellent family-oriented care for our valued patients here at our office in Kelowna’s Orchard Park mall. We think of eye care from a preventive approach and don’t just consider how clearly you see, but many other components to visual function to make sure your eyes are working efficiently as well.
Mat Broschak is the proud owner of Sun Valley Optometry, which is now into its 5th year of service to our loyal patients! He graduated from the University of Calgary in 2001 with his Bachelor of Science and went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry training at the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating in 2005. His main focus is primary eye care for all age groups with a special interest in dry eye management and contact lenses, and he enjoys the education aspect of teaching patients all about vision care.
In his free time, he enjoys golf, biking, skiing and all the things the outdoors has to offer. He is an avid traveller and has been to places as far away as Japan and South Africa. OneSight, a non-profit organization that provides free eye care around the world for those less fortunate, is a particular passion of Dr. Broschak, and he has contributed his time at several clinics to provide free glasses and eye care for people in underprivileged countries.
